Meet Parker

Before coming to the Health Doctors Parker was diagnosed with absence seizures and a speech delay. 🗯️Absence seizures are a brief, sudden lapse of consciousness. 😔 All seizures are a sudden and uncontrolled neurological disturbance in the brain. 🧠

Mom said at first she was hesitant and skeptical because she didn’t fully understand what pediatric chiropractic was and if it would help. But after talking to Dr. Jim and the other doctors mom said she had so much hope and knew she was in the right place!
To find out what is wrong, we look deeper than the brain itself and move our attention to the entire nervous system – including the brainstem, spinal cord, and sensory system.

A few months into care at the Health Doctors and by following his individual care plan, Parker is now through his storm and is now officially seizure free! Parker’s mom, also has seen “his speech improve. His alliteration and focus on words is now easier. He doesn’t get frustrated when trying certain words”.

What advice would you give to a parent whose child is struggling with the same thing?

“I was one of those parents who was definitely skeptical before coming in. Bringing my child in for chiropractic care to help with seizures? Not the norm. We wouldn’t be where we are without the team at the Health Docs. Bring them in and stick with it! You will see the changes!”
